Kernel Installation & Distribution System (KIDS) is a way of creating a standard way of sending and loading patches and packages.

A KIDS distribution creates an entry in the BUILD File. After the KIDS distribution is installed into an existing system, a log is recorded in the INSTALL File.

The following package elements are distributed in a KIDS build: (For any BUILD, these are listed in the BUILD COMPONENTS subfile)

Any build can include other files as well, but these are the ones that are natively supported by KIDS 1.0
