Reply to author | Forward | Print | Individual message | Show original | Remove | Report this message | Find messages by this author Hello again all, It appears as though the consult system needs to be populated with consult services. For our purposes that would be family practice. I see the CONSULTS PARAMETERS FILE but not especially where one would populate the consult services. How/where does one populate the available services for consults? Thanks in advance.

You need to add it as a sub-service of the ALL SERVICES consult grouper, and you should see it in CPRS.

Sam I Groupered Family Practice and then I un-groupered it by putting in @ sign in the Service Usage field and it seems to work now with Family Practice being an orderable consult. I also discovered GMRC MGR seems like a better place to configure this than GMRC SETUP REQUEST SERVICES.

I ordered myself as consultant for a fictitious patient, I am wondering how I am notified that I have been consulted? I have tried a few usual suspects but do not see it.

Oddly enough, most consults expect no value in that field, and you disable them if you put a value. Now that I mention that, I notice how odd it is.

It's rather complex, not easy to explain over a few words.

A few hints: 1. Specific notifications to be turned on. 2. Consults need to be configured on who is going to receive them and close them.
