- Alert
- Brief on-line notice issued to users as they complete a cycle through the menu system. Alerts are designed to provide interactive notification of pending computing activities, such as the need to reorder supplies or review a patient’s clinical test results. Along with the alert message is an indication that the View Alerts common option should be chosen to take further action.
