Ubuntu Server Edition is one of the most widely deployed server platforms worldwide, as is the Ubuntu Desktop version. Current versions of Ubuntu allow both server and desktop packages to be installed interchangeably. Ubuntu is a derivative of the Debian Linux operating system.

Installation standardization
