The VistA Standard Base is a concept voted on and agreed to by the participants of the latest VistA Community Meeting in Tempe AZ this month. The idea was to move toward a standard core VistA upon which the many users could rely for CCHIT certification and updating/patching/enhancements. WorldVistA.org was to be the owner/maintainer of this core, but the development was to be done by the users and vendors. This discussion is a first effort by the community to agree on some basics of how to lay out a VistA installation in a Linux filespace.
Please have a look, and contribute to the discussion if you can.
