Kernel Installation & Distribution System (KIDS) is a way of creating a standard way of sending and loading patches and packages.

A KIDS distribution creates an entry in the BUILD File. After the KIDS distribution is installed into an existing system, a log is recorded in the INSTALL File.

Any build can include other files as well, but these are the ones that are natively supported by KIDS 1.0
